'The feeling you get from being on the finishing line – it’s indescribable really.' - Alice, Team Macmillan.
Why should I join Team Macmillan?
As a Team Macmillan runner you'll receive:
A free Macmillan technical running top plus iron-on letters to customise your kit
A fundraising pack bursting with fundraising tips and tricks
Access to our online training materials
Regular e-newsletters to keep you up to date with Macmillan's news and activities
The loudest and most supportive cheer points on the course!
Most importantly we'll provide you with a reason to keep going because you'll know that you're helping improve the lives of people living with cancer. Donations make up 98% of our annual income so we simply couldn't do what we do without you.
Wheelchair entrants are permitted at the Hackney Half Marathon. Hand cycles, however, are not permitted and all wheelchair participants must be self-propelled without support.
If you are a visually impaired runner or your disability and/or medical conditions means that you require a guide runner/assistant, the Hackney Half Marathon offer a free place to any guide runner for eligible participants.
For more information about taking part in the event as a wheelchair participant or as a guide runner, please contact the race organisers directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
