Great Scottish Half Marathon
Starting in George Square the course will take runners past a selection of Glasgow’s finest venues and buildings as well as crossing over the River Clyde, taking a trip through Pollok Park and Bellahouston Park, before heading back for the grandstand finish on Glasgow Green.
About The Event
Runners follow a stunning route past the city’s most famous landmarks, along the River Clyde and through some of Glasgow’s greenest spaces. Starting in the heart of the city, runners soak up the atmosphere and music all the way to the finish in Glasgow Green, passing our famous entertainment zones every kilometre.
How to enter the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon
There are two ways you can join Team Macmillan in this event:
Secure a charity place at the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon
We would love to have you join Team Macmillan to support people living with cancer. There is no registration fee and a minimum fundraising pledge of £250 (excluding gift aid). Please click on the get a place button.
Use your own place
If you were lucky enough to get your own place in the Great Scottish Half Marathon and would like to raise money for Macmillan, please click on the I have my own place button. There's no minimum sponsorship, just raise as much as you can!

Please make sure you have read our Terms and Conditions before signing up. You must be aged 17 or over on the day of the event to take part.
